When serving as an Airborne Ranger with the 75th Ranger Regiment, he sustained a line-of-duty knee injury during a parachute mission. Tim fought hard to get his life back together and begin his career as an attorney. Tim, more than many personal injury attorneys, knows how it feels to sustain and overcome a life-altering injury. After the Army, Tim began his attorney career defending personal injury cases for insurance companies and large corporations, including Fortune 500 companies, where he learned the workings of insurance companies. Our other firm partner, Christian Van Riper, was selected as a Law Clerk for the Florida Supreme, which is an honor only a few attorneys are selected for. Thereafter, Christian began his legal career as a State Attorney, where he tried multiple serious felony cases out of the St. Lucie County office. This experience affords our personal injury law firm valuable insight into the struggles of our clients face after serious injuries, how their cases are defended, and important trial experience right here in the Treasure Coast.
